Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
No. Six facts suffice: gender, birthdate, general health, tobacco status, coverage needed, and term length. Those six go to the carriers to get prices back. Your name, address, and medical history only come up if you move to an application.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
Those are the rates the carriers gave for the health tier you chose. After underwriting, the carrier sets the real cost—possibly better, the same, or worse than quoted. This site makes no insurance offer and guarantees no price.
What happens when I click Apply?
You add your name and the application starts with the exact quote you picked, then moves to the carriers' secure system. Start, step away, return, and sign online when ready. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California agency (License 0B75129), manages the process.
Will I need a medical exam?
It varies by company, coverage amount, and your situation. Some carriers deliver instant decisions for eligible applicants; each quote tells you if an exam is required, maybe required, or not needed.
Is a longer term better?
Pick a term that covers the years a loss of your income would harm others: paying down the mortgage, kids still dependent, business debts. Longer terms run higher per month but fix your rate for longer. Compare all five spans—10, 15, 20, 25, 30 years—in the tool.
Does this site sell my information?
No. We do not request contact info to quote, do not resell or pass along your data, and do not use cookies to track. Head to the privacy page for the full rundown of what we gather and who has access.
